We are looking forward to 2022!

Dear friends,

Like most people we have found this past year very difficult, We had times of prolonged lockdowns during which schools were closed and we were forced to hire private tutors to help our foster children keep up with their school work, and thankfully they are doing well.

We continued our regular children's feeding schemes during the lockdowns and all our children, both in the church as well as in nearby communities, received nutritious meals . We fed more than 860 children every week and now need to continue expanding the number of meals we give out as many children in nearby communities are still going hungry. Our vision is to reach 2000 children a week with healthy meals in 2022. Please pray for us that this will happen and if you would like to donate you can do so here :

We also plan to start feeding babies, many of whose mothers belong to one of our churches. but who need help to buy their baby nutritious food, The babies will join the Stop for the One Milk Program.

As Covid spread across the country we spent time teaching children from the different communities we visit about hygiene, social distancing and masking up always, We hoped that not only will they practice this themselves, but they will also teach others how to .

At the Gweru base we had four children graduate from ECD (Early Childhood Development) class to primary school level and we are very excited to see what plans God has for them in the future.

We have been given permission by the government to start a school which we have decided to call Raphael Village School. It currently only has two rooms so we will start with Class One and Class Two and trust God to add at least one classroom every year until we can start adding high school classes.

If you would like to contact us to learn more about our projects please go to our Facebook page. Its under the name of Richard Malitino, and from there you can send me a private message as well as keep up with what is happening at our base.

We wish you a happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous 2022.
