SKA: Equipping Leaders to Transform Churches & Communities in Central Mozambique

Written by Peter Wilcox

At Dondo, one of our key initiatives is the School of Kingdom Advancement (SKA), designed to equip local church leaders, deepening their intimacy with the Lord and empowering them to nurture their church members in evangelism, discipleship, and spiritual growth.

In October, Iris Dondo hosted its 7th SKA, bringing together 15 leaders from newly planted churches. It was inspiring to witness how the Holy Spirit moved among them, bringing transformation in their lives and ministries.

One young man shared a powerful testimony about how his view of marriage had been shaped by cultural norms in Mozambique, where a degraded view of marriage and family is common. Through the teaching, he realized how misaligned his past understanding had been. He repented from his previous lifestyle and embraced a new vision of marriage and family according to Kingdom values, committing himself to this transformation.

Story after story revealed how these teachings were reshaping mindsets, presenting biblical principles in ways these leaders had never experienced before. We are thrilled to see these newly equipped leaders bringing Kingdom values to Central Mozambique’s newest churches. Jesus is King!
