In August 2024 I joined Iris Krakow again for the annual European camp.
This week has fast become one of the ‘musts’ of my year.
From the humble beginnings during the onset of Covid when we had no idea that war was coming to Ukraine, circa 6 months later cementing Poland as a strategic outreach hub, the camp has grown to become a truly global camp with people coming from US, Singapore, Mozambique and other countries. It does not disappoint and is out of bounds for no God chaser hungry enough to cross oceans.
The friendships formed are not accidental ships in the night, but very deep, true and longstanding, orchestrated by God Himself. Starting the year on a 40 day fast with Iris Krakow also served to knit our hearts closely together in a way that I already deeply knew and understood many people from the fast season that I met in the flesh for the first time at the camp.
The worship was truly one of a kind. God was unusually and uniquely showed Himself strong through the drums. Words do not adequately capture the power that was coming through the beat and the army assembling. We were spoilt with speakers like Papa Mel Tari, Brian and Valerie Britton, Don Kremer, Mary Pat Gokee, David Gava and Siyabonga Mofele. We went deep and strong from morning to midnight for a week. It was a divine time of connecting, blessing and encouraging each other.
The last session we received the interpretation of Siya´s prayer in tongues: ,,Hear the Word of the Lord, I, God of Israel have summoned you by name, to be a part of my end time army of love, which will give up its rights, so that others may be found in righteousness. You will be given powerful weapons against the enemy. You will be held accountable to obey Me fully in everything. Do not be afraid. Keep your first love and you will keep your life hidden within the arms of My protection.´´
