never underestimate what God can do when you place a bible in someone’s hands..

We are so happy to be giving out lots of bibles this week in Mahajanga, Madagascar.

The many children from the village who come to our feeding program will not only be fed with delicious, nutritious food on Tuesday, they will also be fed with the living word of God as we share a bible story with them.

Before the children go home, every child will receive their own bible with their name written inside.

Many of these children’s families are illiterate as they were not able to go to school when they were younger because of poverty. So, we demonstrate the beautiful love of Jesus by helping many of these children to be able to go to school and have an education.

On past occasions when we have given out bibles - the children that we help to have an education are able to go home and read their bibles to their families who cannot read.

So many people in Madagascar, long to have bibles, I was once in a shop in Mahajanga and there was a man gazing at a bible that was for sale.

I started a conversation with this man - who shared that he had been coming into this shop for a couple of years gazing at a bible he was too poor to buy. So I offered to buy the man a bible that day and He broke down and wept as God gave Him his hearts desire.
