‘when my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me’

Written by Rachel Jane Wallace

we have welcomed a beautiful 3 week baby boy into our family in Mahajanga, Madagascar this week.

this little baby’s life was in danger and we were so happy to be chosen as a safe and loving place for him,.

as soon as I heard about this unnamed baby boy - the name Aaron just dropped into my heart out of nowhere and so I told the officials that I really feel that the Lord wants him to be called Aaron and so God made away for us to be able to name this precious baby boy Aaron.

unloved and unwanted at birth by his parents, but known, loved and called by Almighty God for a great purpose.

we told the other 14 children in our care about this baby before he arrived and I shared with the children how he hadn’t really been shown any love - and I said to the children that we can express our love to him now by praying for him - and so with all of our children we prayed for Aaron before he came into our care.

all of the children were delighted to meet Aaron this week when he arrived and Geraldo our youngest boy is delighted to now be a big brother.
