About Mieze Village

The vision for the Mieze center is to make Jesus known in Mozambican villages as loving Savior and Lord who heals the sick, frees those in spiritual bondage, and offers “a hope and a future” to all who come into relationship with God through faith. It is a vision to see the Kingdom of God coming in power (1 Cor 4:20) and love. And it is a vision to make the local Iris church into a true community center, ministering the love of God to all in a variety of tangible ways. It is designed to preach the good news through deeds of love…such that people will want to hear it explained in words also.

Children’s Center
Our children come to live with us and immediate​ly become part of a large Christian family. They are being raised in a loving and nurturing environment that keeps Jesus at the center of everyday life. Through our care and support, we know they have a future because they are thriving at present. [Sponsor now]

Mercy Ministries
Our mercy ministry programs serve those whose lives hang in the balance. We provide basic necessities to widows ​and single mothers and ​ their families. Along with the basics of food, clothing, and home repairs we go further by infusing the Gospel message in everything we do.

Harvest School Helps The Mieze Goat Project

During the months of June and July, Harvest Missions School is in session in Pemba. On Fridays, the Harvest Missions School has "Practical Missions”, this time is set aside for the students to shadow missionaries, helping them with various projects and learning a little of what it is like to live here....
