During the month of September, our base has, once again, lived in and experienced the mercy and grace of the Lord. The prayer room in the favela Complexo do Alemão has been incredible! The Lord has given us the opportunity to embrace people whom society despises and the privilege of talking about His love in such a marginalized place. Some residents have come to know the Lord through the prayer room. Many children have also heard the Gospel and about God’s love.
In the neighborhoods Pavuna and Acari, we have seen the fruit of sharing the word of God and His love with the homeless, with children and their families. Fruit that only Jesus can grow in their lives.
We at Iris Rio can only thank the Lord for the privilege of contributing to what He has done in the city of Rio de Janeiro!
