Praise the Lord, for He is worthy!
Our base has experienced the goodness of the Lord, and it is a privilege to be part of what He is doing in the City of Rio de Janeiro.
The work in Pavuna and Acari has been growing day by day. This month was a month of projects with the children from Acari, and we saw a surprising number of new children coming to attend. It was an incredible time, where once again we could serve that community in love.
We held another dental care event with our dentist missionary, Rebeca. With each adult and child that were attended, the goodness and grace of the Lord were poured out upon them.
In the slum, Complexo do Alemão, we have resumed discipleship with the children and are also assisting with school tutoring and reinforcement. The Prayer Room there has been a place of healing; we have seen the Lord drawing people in and we have seen people being strengthened and encouraged. In the scenario of chaos in this slum, we have tasted the peace that surpasses all understanding, and we are grateful to God because He has done much more than we could ask or think!
