December 2024

At our location, we are blessed to have a home dedicated to serving children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Currently, six children live in the house with loving house parents from our local team, while an additional five children are supported within their own families, many of whom are widowed mothers caring for multiple children. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring hope and transformation to these precious lives.

The children are doing wonderfully - physically, mentally and spiritually. Praise God! They keep progressing well in school, with encouraging marks in their recent exams.

We are also witnessing God’s hand at work with two children who come from a different faith background. One of our team members felt a deep connection with their mother, a resilient widow who has been raising her children alone amidst many challenges. Through dreams, God clearly revealed that we were called to support them. Since then, the family has become part of our community, visiting the home regularly and building friendship. The other kids and the house parents living there have been sharing the truths of the Bible and testifying God’s unwavering goodness to them.

While we face challenges, including increased scrutiny from authorities and the approval of stricter laws, we are encouraged by God’s faithfulness. In response to these pressures, the church the children attend has wisely adjusted its service times to prioritize safety. Even in the midst of uncertainty, we see God’s protection and provision guiding us each step of the way.

Please join us in prayer - not only for continued protection but also for boldness and joy as we follow Jesus and share the hope of the Gospel. We trust that God is working powerfully in this season and we are confident that His light will shine even brighter through these challenges.
