Iris Fathers and Sons Camp is an event that gathers local pastors and leaders from different communities in our area in a beautiful place called "Ons Plek" in Hazyview. Each Leader/Father gathered 5 boys aging from 13 to 17 years old from their neighbourhood and brought them together to the camp. This time we had 40 boys and 8 Leaders/Fathers spending a great time together for four days. The goal of this camp is to have fun, build relationships between the boys and leaders and learn more about Christian life and manhood. Many of our boys were touched deeply by Jesus and made the decision to give their lives away, being filled with The Holy Spirit and live for Him forever. Our days were filled with worship, praying, biblical teachings, team building games, individual talents presentations, questions and answers, swimming in the pool, great food and communion with Jesus. All of this in an atmosphere of joy and gratitude to The Lord.
We thank God for the impact that He has in the lives of these boys.
