Iris Harvest Bible College is a theological institution that was started by Pastor Surprise and Tryphina Sithole in 2003. It has grown over the years and has equipped many leaders within South Africa and nearby countries. More than 500 students has been graduated in the past 20 years. We’ve had the privilege to train Pastors and Ministers of The Gospel from South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Swaziland, Lesotho and Zimbabwe. Due to financial shortages we were forced to close our school after lockdown.
By the grace of God we’ve managed to resume our school this year and we have started our first classes of 2024 on 5th of February. Currently we have 35 full and part time students. Thanks to God we managed to have half of our students on scholarships, so the school takes care of their books, food and accommodation for the duration of the whole year. Iris Harvest Bible College has made it easy and accessible for many Pastors that cannot afford to pay for their training by giving them an opportunity to come and study for free every year. Classes are given by our lecturers five days a week. Our students have also opportunity to go for outreaches 2 times a week. They also join the team who minister to drug addicts and prostitutes on Anderson Street in Nelspruit and also doing Street evangelism at our surrounding communities. Our staff consists of local Pastors and missionaries within Iris White River Base that are volunteering in teaching the students. We have currently 7 staff members which are: Surprise Sithole, Tryphina Sithole, Morgen Heart, Beauty Khumalo, Michal Michalak , Lenon Malambe and Mama Precious.
